Woodworker-Crate Maker
Responsibilities

Measure, cut, and assemble wood to create custom crates based on blueprints or specifications.

Operate hand and power tools such as saws, drills, nail guns, and sanders.

Select appropriate materials based on weight, dimensions, and shipping requirements.

Inspect finished crates to ensure structural integrity and quality standards.

Safely move and position heavy materials and finished crates.

Maintain a clean and organized work area and perform basic maintenance on tools and equipment.

Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear.
Qualifications and Skills

Ability to read and interpret measurements and technical drawings.

Familiarity with wood types, fasteners, and adhesives.

Capable of standing, lifting, and working with hand tools for extended periods.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Ability to stand, kneel, and bend frequently

Use of hands and arms to operate machinery and assemble components
