Welder
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with a variety of welding equipment and techniques, including MIG, TIG, FCAW, and stick welding. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to interpret welding symbols and blueprints, and a commitment to safety and quality standards. The Welder will fabricate, assemble, and repair metal components while ensuring production goals and customer expectations are met.
Responsibilities

Determine appropriate welding equipment, methods, and techniques required for each project

Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and specifications

Develop templates and work aids to align and hold parts properly

Set up and operate welding equipment including MIG, TIG, stick welders, air arc machines, and cutting torches
-
Tack-weld and weld components and assemblies in flat, vertical, and overhead positions
-
Deburr, grind, and finish metal surfaces to meet quality and texture requirements

Perform quality inspections throughout production and follow procedures for defective materials or parts
-
Conduct equipment inspections prior to use and report any malfunctions or safety concerns

Safely operate forklifts, overhead cranes, grinders, and other shop equipment as needed

Receive, inspect, and unload incoming materials

Work collaboratively with team members to meet production schedules and On-Time Delivery goals

Maintain accurate documentation, including time sheets and production records

Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and quality standards

Keep work areas clean, organized, and free from hazard

Assist with additional duties and equipment operation as assigned
Qualifications and Skills
-
Previous welding and fabrication experience preferred

Strong knowledge of MIG, TIG, FCAW, and stick welding processes

Ability to weld stainless steel, carbon steel, and aluminum component
-
Capable of passing ASME and AWS welding certification tests

Understanding of proper filler materials and welding techniques

Experience using overhead cranes, forklifts, grinders, calipers, tape measures, and hand tools

Strong math, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment
