Warehouse Manager – Plastics Manufacturing
A plastics manufacturing facility in Erie, PA is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee daily operations, inventory control, and team performance. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient material flow, maintaining accurate inventory, and leading warehouse staff in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and shipping of materials and finished goods

Manage inventory levels, cycle counts, and accuracy within the warehouse system

Coordinate material movement to support production schedules and minimize downtime

Supervise, train, and evaluate warehouse personnel to ensure productivity and safety standards are met

Maintain organized warehouse layout to optimize space and workflow efficiency

Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements

Collaborate with production, purchasing, and logistics teams to align priorities and resolve issues

Monitor and improve processes related to shipping, receiving, and inventory control
Qualifications and Skills

Strongly preferred: prior warehouse leadership experience within plastics manufacturing

Demonstrated experience handling raw materials, resins, or finished plastic goods is highly desirable

Proven ability to manage inventory in a manufacturing setting with high volume material flow

Experience supervising and developing teams in a hands-on environment

Familiarity with forklifts, material handling equipment, and warehouse systems

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced setting

Solid problem-solving and organizational skills

Comfortable working on the floor as needed to support the team
Benefits/Compensation

Salary starting at $60,000+, depending on experience level

1st shift Monday-Friday schedule with occasional required weekends and overtime
