Vice President of Sales and Business Development
Career Concepts is seeking an analytical and motivated Vice President of Sales and Business Development for a well-established manufacturing company in Jamestown, NY. This role focuses on preparing accurate job quotes, supporting the sales and operations team, and ensuring customer satisfaction through precision and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a background in manufacturing (preferably sheet metal), strong attention to detail, and a desire to grow within a company that values teamwork and long-term career development.
Responsibilities

Prepare detailed and accurate quotes for manufacturing projects.

Review and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents to determine labor, material, and time requirements.

Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure cost accuracy and project feasibility.

Support sales by providing prompt and precise pricing information.

Maintain organized records of estimates, revisions, and customer requests.

Work closely with leadership to ensure quotes align with company profitability goals.

Follow company policies and maintain consistent communication with management.

Participate in occasional customer visits or meetings as needed (approx. once every 6 months).
Qualifications and Skills

Prior experience in manufacturing, preferably within sheet metal fabrication.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications.

Strong math, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer literacy.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred
