Valve Assembly Technician

A local Fairview company is seeking a motivated and dependable individual to join their team as a Valve Assembly Technician. In this role, you will assemble precision valve components by following detailed work instructions and quality standards. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys mechanical work, takes pride in quality craftsmanship, and likes solving problems.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble, disassemble, and reassemble industrial valves in accordance with work instructions and specifications.

  • Perform pressure testing to verify valve integrity and proper operation.

  • Gather the necessary components and materials from inventory to support production.

  • Examine parts for cosmetic and dimensional defects, including burrs, scratches, and other imperfections.

  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to leaks, torque, alignment, and overall assembly performance.

  • Assemble and test a wide range of valve types, sizes, materials, and pressure ratings.

  • Perform basic wiring when needed.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to work with precision parts and assemblies.

  • Good problem-solving and mechanical troubleshooting skills.

  • Assembly or testing experience is a plus, but not required.

  • Basic wiring or electrical knowledge is helpful.

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.

  • Valve experience is a plus, but they're willing to train the right candidate.

Benefits/Compensation
  • Full time

  • $20-22/hr depending on experience level

  • 1st shift

  • 6am-2:30pm

  • Weekly pay while employed through Career Concepts
