Tool Room Technician
Our local client is seeking a Tool Room Technician to support production by maintaining, repairing, and fabricating tooling and related equipment. This role is key to ensuring tools and dies are production-ready and operating efficiently.
Responsibilities

Repair, maintain, and rebuild production tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures

Use hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment for precision work

Diagnose tool wear, damage, and performance issues

Fabricate or modify tooling components as needed

Support production by ensuring tools are ready for use

Maintain tool room inventory and organization

Perform preventative maintenance on tooling equipment

Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications and Skills

Prior tool room, maintenance, or machining experience preferred

Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills

Ability to use precision tools and equipment

Attention to detail and quality focus
