Toddler Daycare Teacher
We are seeking a caring, dependable Toddler Teacher to join a local childcare center. This role works with children ages 1–3, creating a safe, nurturing, and developmentally supportive environment. The ideal candidate enjoys helping toddlers learn, grow, and build early skills through structured routines and engaging activities.
Responsibilities

Ensure constant supervision and provide a warm, nurturing environment for toddlers ages 1–3.

Follow daily routines including meals, naps, diapering/potty-training, transitions, and structured activities.

Plan and lead age-appropriate learning experiences that support developmental milestones (language, motor skills, social skills, sensory play, early problem-solving, etc.).

Facilitate creative, outdoor, and sensory play while encouraging exploration and independence.

Observe and document child progress and adjust activities to meet individual needs.

Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized classroom following all health, safety, and licensing guidelines.

Communicate with parents daily regarding behaviors, routines, meals, and developmental updates.

Collaborate with co-teachers and support staff to maintain a positive, consistent classroom environment.

Participate in required meetings, trainings, and professional development.
Qualifications and Skills

Experience working with young children preferred.

Patient, reliable, and passionate about early childhood education.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

PA Child Abuse Clearance

NSOR Clearance

Candidates with existing clearances are a plus.
