Spring Grinder Machine Operator
We are seeking a detail-oriented Spring Grinder Machine Operator to join our manufacturing production team. This hands-on role focuses on operating precision grinding equipment, primarily for spring grinding, to ensure components meet exact specifications and quality standards. Candidates will have experience with machines and not handheld grinders.
Responsibilities

Setup, operate spring grinder machines and equipment according to specifications.

Adjust machine settings to achieve precise dimensions and surface finishes.

Grind components to remove imperfections and ensure flatness, shape, or profile accuracy.

Conduct quality checks on finished parts using precision measuring tools (e.g., dial calipers).

Monitor equipment operation and production quality throughout the process.

Perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and minor troubleshooting on grinding machines.

Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Qualifications and Skills

Deburring experience is NOT spring grinding experience

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications.

Strong manual dexterity, attention to detail, and focus on quality.

Basic mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and maintaining equipment.

MUST have experience utilizing a grinding machine.

Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.

Work environment is loud and requires focus on precision; grinding is spring grinding, not deburring.

Precision measurement skills using tools such as dial calipers are essential.

Ability to pass a math skills exam
