Shipping and Receiving Clerk
Career Concepts is seeking an organized and reliable Shipping and Receiving Clerk for a well-established manufacturing company in the Pittsburgh area. This full-time, first-shift position offers long-term stability and a clean, team-oriented warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organization skills, and prior experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations.
Responsibilities

Prepare, package, and label outgoing shipments in accordance with company and carrier requirements.

Verify and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, documentation, and product condition.

Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment.

Record and maintain shipping and receiving data using inventory or ERP systems.

Ensure materials are properly stored in designated areas and inventory counts are accurate.

Coordinate with carriers and internal departments to schedule and track shipments.

Identify and report damaged, missing, or incorrect items promptly.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with all safety policies.

Assist with inventory cycle counts and other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills

Forklift certification required (or willingness to obtain).

Prior shipping, receiving, or warehouse experience preferred.

Basic computer and data entry skills; familiarity with shipping or inventory software a plus.

Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.

Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
