Shipping and Receiving Clerk
Career Concepts is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk for a well-established manufacturing company in Erie, PA. This position is responsible for coordinating and performing shipping and receiving activities while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with company standards. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, dependable, and experienced in warehouse operations and sit-down forklift operation.
Responsibilities

Communicate clearly via email with customers, vendors, and internal departments.

Generate and complete Advanced Shipping Notices (ASNs) after product shipment.

Validate accuracy of pick tickets and staged items prior to shipment.

Organize outgoing paperwork and coordinate shipments according to schedules.

Obtain logistics quotes and process purchase orders as needed.

Handle both domestic and international shipments.

Maintain compliance with USMCA and NAFTA documentation requirements.

Review receiving paperwork for accuracy and maintain accurate inventory records.

Coordinate and fulfill internal shipping requests.

Safely operate a sit-down forklift (training provided if needed).
Qualifications and Skills

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.

2+ years of shipping/receiving or warehouse experience preferred.

Prior sit-down forklift experience required; certification preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask effectively.

Reliable and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
