Quality Tech
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our metal shop team as an Entry-Level Parts Inspector. This is a hands-on role suitable for someone with little to no prior experience in manufacturing or inspection. Full training will be provided. Your main responsibility will be to visually and manually inspect metal parts for defects and conformance to basic specifications.
Responsibilities
· Perform visual and basic dimensional inspection of metal parts using simple measuring tools (e.g., tape measure, calipers, gauges).
· Check for surface defects, burrs, incorrect dimensions, or other irregularities.
· Sort and tag parts that pass or fail inspection.
· Follow written and verbal work instructions and inspection checklists.
· Maintain a clean and organized inspection area.
· Report defective parts or concerns to the supervisor or quality personnel.
· Accurately document inspection results on paper or using simple digital forms.
· Support other shop tasks as needed.1st Responsibilities
Qualifications and Skills
· No prior experience required – training will be provided.
· High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
· Basic math skills (able to read a ruler or tape measure).
· Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
· Able to follow instructions and work independently after training.
· Comfortable working in a manufacturing or metal shop environment.
· Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.

· Industrial metal fabrication shop setting
· Exposure to noise, dust, and metal parts (PPE provided)
