Robot Programmer
We are seeking a skilled Robot Programmer to develop, implement, and maintain robotic systems used in manufacturing and production environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming robots, optimizing automation processes, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring efficient and safe operation of robotic equipment.
Responsibilities

Program, configure, and troubleshoot industrial robots (e.g., FANUC, ABB, KUKA, Yaskawa/Motoman).

Develop and modify robot programs for new and existing production lines.

Perform robot teach pendant programming and offline programming as needed.

Integrate robots with PLCs, vision systems, and other automation equipment.

Optimize cycle times and improve overall system efficiency.

Diagnose and resolve robotic system issues to minimize downtime.

Conduct routine maintenance and support preventive maintenance programs.

Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and production teams on automation projects.

Document programs, processes, and changes accurately.
Qualifications and Skills

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Engineering, Automation, or related field (or equivalent experience).

2+ years of experience programming industrial robots.

Knowledge of PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens) is a plus.

Experience with robotic integration, sensors, and vision systems preferred.

Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, decipher blueprints and architectural drawings.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in robot programming languages and teach pendant operation.

Background in welding and fabrication required.

At least 5 years of programming experience.
