Quality Inspector Plastics
A local plastics manufacturer in Erie is hiring a 3rd shift Quality Inspector responsible for verifying that all finished goods comply with client specifications and quality expectations.
Responsibilities

Communicate quality standards to machine operators and technicians

Perform inspections on first pieces, in-process parts, and final products

Monitor and report data

Identify, isolate, and document any defective products
-
Sort and certify returned or rejected items

Distribute and organize quality documents and inspection samples

Use measurement tools and maintain accurate electronic records
Qualifications and Skills

High school diploma or equivalent
-
Basic math and computer skills (Excel, electronic recordkeeping)

Good communication, reading, and comprehension skills
-
Ability to use measurement and test equipment

Experience in inspection or previous work at Essentra

Ability to read technical drawings
