Quality Control Technician
The Quality Control Technician is responsible for ensuring that all products meet or exceed customer specifications and internal quality standards. This is a hands-on role requiring precision measurement, technical interpretation, and active participation in continuous improvement initiatives within an ISO 9001:2015 environment. This position offers hands-on exposure to both manual and automated testing equipment, with strong opportunities for growth and advancement.
Responsibilities

Perform dimensional and mechanical inspections using manual and programmable measurement equipment

Utilize tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and force testing equipment to verify product quality

Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and tolerance specifications

Operate and learn to program automated testing systems

Apply geometric principles to calculate inferred specifications and ensure compliance

Conduct first-piece, in-process, and final inspections

Identify, document, and report nonconforming materials or parts

Create compliance documentation, certification reports, data sheets, and analysis summaries

Support ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System requirements, including internal audits

Investigate quality issues and contribute to corrective actions and continuous improvement efforts

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Qualifications and Skills

Strong mechanical aptitude and high attention to detail

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and tolerances

Experience using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.) preferred

Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 or similar quality standards preferred

Basic computer skills for documentation, data entry, and reporting

Ability to learn automated testing systems and inspection processes

Understanding of geometric measurement and calculations is a plus
