Production Floor Associate
Responsible for supporting various areas of production as a floater within a metal machining manufacturing facility. This role moves between departments as needed — running machines, assisting with assembly, and supporting shipping — to help keep production running smoothly.
Responsibilities

Rotate between departments as needed, including machine operation, assembly, and shipping.

Operate and monitor machining equipment under supervision as assigned.

Assist with assembling components and finished products.

Support shipping department tasks such as packaging, labeling, and preparing orders for shipment.

Follow work instructions and production schedules across multiple departments.

Maintain accurate production and quality records.

Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.

Communicate any equipment or process issues to supervisors.

Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
Qualifications and Skills

Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred but not required.

Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn multiple tasks.

Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work areas.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Strong attention to detail and reliability.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Willingness to be cross-trained across various departments.
