Plastics Process Tech
A local plastics manufacturer is seeking a skilled Process Technician to support their injection molding operations. This role is essential to maintaining machine efficiency, product quality, and overall production flow.
Responsibilities

Set up and change molds based on production schedules

Start and cycle presses following standard operating procedures

Monitor productivity and reject rates to ensure efficient machine performance

Conduct in-process inspections and complete first-piece approvals

Track downtime and maintain accurate production records

Support floor personnel and assist in troubleshooting when needed

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Participate in process improvement and safety initiatives
Qualifications and Skills

High school diploma or equivalent required

Basic math, reading, and communication skills

Mechanical aptitude and the ability to work independently

Experience with injection molding setup or processing
-
Willingness to learn and attend training as required

Flexibility to work overtime as needed
