Plastics Quality Inspector

Responsibilities

Be the Gatekeeper of Quality: Inspect plastic products, components, and materials using the latest tools and techniques-ensuring every item meets our exacting standards.

Spot and Solve Problems: Identify defects or inconsistencies, document findings, and work with our production and quality teams to resolve issues and prevent them in the future.

Drive Continuous Improvement: Participate in initiatives that make our processes better, faster, and more efficient-your ideas will be heard!

Stay Compliant: Ensure all products align with industry regulations and company policies, keeping safety and quality at the forefront.

Keep Us Moving: Maintain accurate records, calibrate inspection equipment, and help train colleagues so we’re always performing at our best.

Collaborate and Communicate: Work closely with a talented team of production professionals, sharing insights and feedback to keep quality high and customers happy.
Qualifications and Skills

High school diploma or equivalent (technical training or quality control certification is a plus!)

Experience in quality inspection or control-especially in plastics or manufacturing-is highly valued

Sharp attention to detail and a knack for spotting issues others might miss

Familiarity with inspection tools, measurement instruments, and testing methods

Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others

Analytical thinking and a proactive approach to problem-solving

Knowledge of industry standards (ISO, ASTM, etc.) is a bonus

Comfortable working independently and managing your time to meet deadlines

Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting
