Injection Press Operator
Responsibilities
-
Operate injection presses
-
Operate McNeil and conventional presses when required
-
Monitor quality using visual checks and SPC
-
Report and correct out of control conditions
-
Visually inspect equipment for damage or wear
-
Complete daily press production sheets and quality control sheets
-
Communicate any problems to the shift supervisor
-
Label all molded material with proper identification
-
Determine work assignments from master schedule
-
Perform daily and weekly cleanup of equipment
-
Trim parts
-
Must have high school diploma
-
Perform other duties, as assigned by supervision
-
Vision - 20/20 with or without correction
-
Lifting more than 50 pounds multiple times during the shift is required
Qualifications and Skills
-
Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.

Ability to operate injection molding presses and conventional presses.

Basic understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and quality monitoring procedures.

Ability to complete production and quality control documentation accurately.
-
Strong attention to detail for visual inspections and product quality checks.

Ability to monitor production processes and identify out-of-control conditions.
-
Experience with visual quality inspection and trimming molded parts.
-
Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment, including daily and weekly equipment cleanup.

Strong time management and reliability in maintaining production workflow.
