Plastics Press Operator
A manufacturer in Erie, PA is looking for Plastics Press Operators to join their manufacturing team. As a Plastics Press Operator, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring plastic injection molding machines to produce high-quality plastic products according to specifications.
Responsibilities

Operate plastic injection molding machines to produce plastic parts based on established production schedules and quality standards.

Monitor and control the operation of the press, observing gauges, indicators, and machine functions to ensure proper functioning and identify any abnormalities.

Perform quality inspections on each part to verify the product’s dimensions, appearance, and overall quality, adhering to defined specifications.

Maintain accurate records of production data, machine settings, and any adjustments made during shift.
Qualifications and Skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Knowledge of safety procedures and the ability to adhere to them at all times.

Manufacturing background preferred.
