Plastics Machine Maintenance
Career Concepts is looking for an experienced Plastics Machine Maintenance worker for the Fairview area. This is a 1stshift position. Reliable transportation is a must. Must have at least 5 years work experience.
Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance on plastics manufacturing equipment, including injection molding and auxiliary systems

Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical issues on older machines

Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and implement timely, effective solutions to minimize downtime

Inspect, test, and adjust machine components to ensure optimal performance and safety
-
Maintain and repair legacy equipment where documentation may be limited or outdated
-
Fabricate or modify parts as needed to support older machinery

Maintain accurate maintenance logs, service records, and parts inventory
-
Collaborate with production teams to improve machine efficiency and reliability

Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures
Qualifications and Skills

Minimum 5 years of machine maintenance experience (required)

Experience working with plastics manufacturing equipment (injection molding preferred)

Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics

Ability to troubleshoot and repair older or legacy equipment with minimal guidance

Basic electrical knowledge (motors, wiring, controls)

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics

Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills

Ability to work independently and in a team environment
