Plastics Extrusion Operator
Responsibilities

Operate and maintain single‑screw and twin‑screw extruders to produce custom plastic profiles.

Ensure proper setup and consistent operation of extrusion lines according to production specifications.

Conduct regular inspections, perform quality checks, and troubleshoot issues.

Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, and maintenance teams to optimize workflow and resolve production concerns.

Maintain clean, organized, and safety-compliant workspace.
Qualifications and Skills

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Vocational training or certifications in plastics/machinery operations a plus.

Experience operating plastic extrusion machinery (single and/or twin‑screw) is highly beneficial.

Mechanical aptitude and ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, tooling data, and production specs.
