Paint Technician
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Paint Technician to join a growing manufacturing team in Fairview PA. In this role, you'll prepare, mix, and apply paints and coatings to various - helping to ensure top quality finishes and color consistency. If you enjoy hands-on work, have an eye for detail, and take pride in maintaining high standards, this could be a perfect opportunity for you!
Responsibilities:

Identify paint formulas using reference numbers previously provided by the sampling technician and coating supervisor

Accurately measure and mix ingredients according to specifications

Deliver mixed paint batches to the production lines for use

Manage assigned coating lines to keep production running smoothly

Maintain clean and organized work areas, including paint and storage rooms and spray booths

Track and update paint and coating inventory; notify supervisors when restocking is needed

Properly handle, label, and dispose of hazardous materials following all safety and environmental procedures

Unload and organize delivered paint using the FIFO (First In, First Out) system
Qualifications & Skills:

Ability to sit, stand, reach, stoop, bend, walking, and lift throughout the shift

Comfortable with long periods of sitting or standing

Basic Math skills and attention to detail

Good eyesight and color recognition
-
Must have basic English communication and reading skills to follow all formulas, instructions, and safety procedures
Education:
-
High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
Benefits/Compensation:

Full Time

$16 to start, increase to $18 when hired

Mon-Fri 5:30am-4pm, OT required
