Paint Line Operator
Responsibilities

Operating and Monitoring Machinery: Running and monitoring paint line equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operation, primarily applying coatings in an efficient manner to ensure quality.

Equipment Maintenance: Checking, maintaining, and troubleshooting paint line equipment, and making necessary repairs.

Paint Preparation and Mixing: Preparing and mixing paint and coatings according to specifications, ensuring the right consistency and color.

Quality Control: Inspecting finished products to ensure they meet quality standards, identifying and addressing any defects.

Safety Compliance: Adhering to safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries, wearing appropriate PPE (personal protective equipment).

Work Area Maintenance: Keeping the work area clean and organized before, during, and after each shift.

Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of production and quality control measures.

Collaboration: Working with other team members to achieve production goals and targets.
Qualifications and Skills

Industrial Painting Experience
-
Equipment Operation: Experience operating and troubleshooting paint application equipment, including spray guns, automated systems, and other relevant tools.

Paint Knowledge: Understanding of paint formulations, application techniques, and finishing processes.

Quality Control: Ability to identify defects, perform quality checks, and use measuring tools to ensure product quality.

Basic Math and Measurement: Proficiency in using basic math and measurement tools to calculate quantities, dimensions, and tolerances.

Technical Documentation: Ability to read and interpret technical documents like safety data sheets and production specifications.
-
Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail to identify defects and ensure high quality.

Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and others involved in the production process.

Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve production goals.

Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve issues that may arise during the production process.

7:00 am – 3:00 pm Monday-Friday. Overtime potential based on needs.
