Order Facilitator
A well-established local manufacturing organization is seeking a detail-oriented Order Facilitator to support the sales department through order processing, document control, and coordination between internal teams. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience supporting sales operations in a fast-paced office environment.
Responsibilities

Serve as a liaison between the sales office and internal departments to ensure efficient communication and coordination.

Retrieve and process submittal packages and request-for-quote (RFQ) documentation from third-party data platforms.

Coordinate document packages to ensure all required information is complete and submitted within required timelines.

Review incoming orders and accurately enter order information into internal systems.

Maintain and update various sales-related documents and reports, including production schedules and customer lists.

Support sales operations by assisting with document control and order tracking.

Respond to phone calls and email inquiries from customers and internal teams.

Assist with additional administrative or operational tasks as needed to support the sales department.
Qualifications and Skills

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field preferred.

Minimum 5+ years of office experience, preferably in sales support, customer service, or administrative coordination.

Working knowledge of general office practices such as customer service, purchasing processes, and inventory coordination.

Strong ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, customers, and outside representatives.

Ability to work independently while also contributing within a team environment.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Windows-based systems.

Strong communication skills including phone and email correspondence.

Intermediate math skills including the ability to calculate percentages, discounts, and basic business calculations.

Strong problem-solving and reasoning abilities with the ability to analyze information and resolve issues.
