Mobility Support Specialist

A nationwide business services organization is seeking an entry-level Mobility Support Specialist to support corporate clients with mobility and telecommunications needs. This role focuses on device orders, activations, troubleshooting, record tracking, and client support related to mobile services. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced remote environment.

This is a specialized support role designed to handle mobility-related requests so senior team members can focus on higher-level strategic projects. The position is highly process-driven, trainable, and well-suited for someone with mobility or telecom exposure who is eager to grow within the industry.

Responsibilities
  • Process mobility orders including device upgrades, activations, cancellations, suspensions, and troubleshooting.

  • Configure and prepare devices for end users (install required apps, assign phone numbers, track Apple IDs, and ship devices ready-to-use).

  • Provide remote support to client employees experiencing service or activation issues via phone, screen share, or video meetings.

  • Communicate with clients regarding order status, service requests, and resolutions.

  • Maintain accurate tracking of devices, users, and service details in internal systems.

  • Assist with invoice reviews, documentation, and validation of authorized requests.

  • Navigate carrier processes (Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, etc.) to complete client requests.

  • Work within a shared ticketing system, manage priorities, and complete time-sensitive requests.

  • Meet internal timelines, client deadlines, and utilization metrics.

  • Escalate complex issues to senior team members when appropriate.

  • Provide professional guidance to clients as a knowledgeable resource.

  • Prepare, schedule, drop off, or pick up shipments for mobility devices as needed.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Familiarity with smartphones, mobile apps, and standard office software.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes.

  • Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.

  • Willingness to learn telecom platforms, carriers, and mobility systems.

  • Prior experience working for a mobility or telecom provider preferred.

  • Strong customer service and communication skills (written and verbal).

  • Comfortable working in a role where priorities may shift throughout the day and requests may require immediate response.

  • Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.

Benefits/Compensation
  • Full Time

  • First shift (8:30am – 4:30pm)  

  • $17/hr based on experience

  • Temp to hire position  

  • Weekly pay while employed through Career Concepts
