MIG Welder
A local Erie company is seeking a dependable and motivated Entry-Level MIG Welder to join their team. This role involves performing basic MIG welding tasks to fabricate and assemble metal components according to specifications. TIG welding experience is a plus and may offer additional opportunities for growth within the company.
Responsibilities

Perform MIG welding on various metal components and assemblies

Follow blueprints, schematics, and work instructions accurately

Inspect welds for accuracy, strength, and quality

Maintain welding equipment and tools in clean, working condition

Assist with material handling, setup, and general shop duties as needed

Adhere to all safety procedures and company guidelines
Qualifications and Skills

Basic experience or training in MIG welding (technical school or hands-on preferred)

Ability to read and interpret simple technical drawings

Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail

Willingness to learn and take direction from supervisors

Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic

Must have own welding helmet, gloves, and steel toe boots

Ability to lift 50lbs and stand for 8 hours

Experience with Tig welding a plus
