Metal Parts Hanger
A local Erie company is seeking a reliable Metal Parts Hanger to join their team. This role is essential in supporting production by hanging, organizing, and inspecting metal parts to keep workflow running smoothly.
Responsibilities

Hanging Metal Parts: Properly hang and secure metal parts, components, or assemblies on designated racks, hooks, or hangers based on instructions or work orders.

Organizing Inventory: Keep metal parts arranged in an orderly, systematic manner to ensure quick identification, easy retrieval, and smooth inventory management.

Quality Checks: Inspect parts for visible defects, damage, or irregularities before hanging, and promptly report concerns to supervisors or quality personnel.

Inventory Support: Assist with accurate recordkeeping by performing stock checks, reconciling discrepancies, and supporting cycle counts when needed.
Qualifications and Skills

Previous experience in a similar role or with handling metal parts preferred.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Effective communication abilities and teamwork skills.

Basic math skills for accurate counting and recording.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods..
