Metal Fabricator/Brake Press Operator
Seeking a motivated, experienced Metal Fabricator/Brake Press Operator to bend, shape, and form high-quality metal components. In this role, you will read and interpret blueprints, fabricate parts, perform quality checks on finished products, and set up and maintain fabrication equipment while following all safety standards. The ideal candidate has solid knowledge of industrial metalwork, strong math skills, and a sharp eye for detail.
Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions to ensure all requirements and specifications are met.

Verify dimensions and product specifications using a variety of quality measuring tools.

Set up, operate, and maintain fabrication equipment, including brake presses, to produce parts.

Ensure parts are properly fitted, aligned, and fastened.

Test and inspect parts for function and quality, troubleshooting issues to prevent defects and recalls.

Keep to the production schedule and document work performed.

Meet quality control standards and follow all safety rules and regulations at all times.
Qualifications and Skills

2 years of fabrication experience, including shearing, sawing, punching, rolling, forming, and welding.

Ability to set up, operate, and maintain fabricating equipment; Trumpf experience is a plus.

Ability to read and understand engineering blueprints.

Ability to fabricate metal products, including grinding, finishing, inspecting, and performing quality checks.

Good dexterity, good vision, and excellent attention to detail.

Strong math skills.

Ability to read, write, and understand English for instructions and communication.

Willingness to undergo a physical examination as required.
