Metal Fabricator
Responsible for fabricating metal parts and components using saws, punch presses, and brake presses in accordance with blueprints, specifications, and quality standards. This role supports production schedules by cutting, punching, and forming metal materials to precise tolerances.
Responsibilities

Set up and operate saws, punch presses, and brake presses to cut, punch, and form metal parts.

Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and specifications to determine fabrication requirements.

Measure and mark metal stock to ensure accurate cuts and bends.

Inspect finished parts using measuring tools (tape measures, calipers, squares, etc.) to verify dimensional accuracy.

Select appropriate tooling, dies, and materials for each job.

Identify and report equipment malfunctions or quality issues.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Maintain accurate production and inspection records.

Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
Qualifications and Skills

Previous experience operating saws, punch presses, and/or brake presses preferred.

Ability to read blueprints and use standard measuring tools.

Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
