Medical Assistant/Scheduler
A busy Meadville medical office is seeking a personable and dependable Medical Assistant / Scheduler to join their team. This role is a mix of patient care and front-office scheduling, making it a great fit for someone confident, customer service–oriented, and eager to support both patients and providers in a professional healthcare setting.
Responsibilities

Greet, escort, and prepare patients for exams or treatments while recording vitals and updating records.

Assist providers with procedures, wound care, and administering medications (if applicable).

Collect lab specimens, perform basic tests, and maintain clean, safe equipment.

Schedule and confirm patient appointments, coordinate follow-ups, and handle inquiries by phone.

Maintain accurate records, billing, and insurance documentation.

Provide patients with clear instructions regarding care and treatments.

Help keep supplies stocked, organized, and ready for use.
Qualifications and Skills

Graduate of a Medical Assistant program or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) welcome.

Medical scheduling experience strongly preferred.

MA certification a plus, but not required.

Must hold and maintain CPR certification.

Strong communication, customer service, and patient care skills.

Ability to assist with patient mobility and perform accurate vital signs.

Professional and confident when working with patients, families, and staff.
