Mechanical Engineer
Responsible for designing, developing, and improving mechanical components, systems, and products used in production. Applies principles of mechanics, materials science, and manufacturing processes to create efficient, reliable, and cost-effective engineering solutions, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to support new product development and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities

Design, develop, and modify mechanical components, tooling, and assemblies using CAD software.

Create and maintain engineering drawings, specifications, and bills of materials.

Perform engineering calculations, tolerance analysis, and stress/failure analysis on new and existing designs.

Build, test, and validate prototypes and production equipment.

Collaborate with production, quality, and procurement teams to resolve design and manufacturing issues.

Identify and implement design and process improvements to reduce cost and increase efficiency.

Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for mechanical failures.

Ensure designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company specifications.

Maintain accurate engineering documentation and project records.
Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required.

2+ years of mechanical design or engineering experience preferred.

Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar) required.

Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.

Experience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) is a plus.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
