Material Handler/Box Truck Driver
Career Concepts is seeking a dependable and safety-minded Material Handler/Box Truck Driver for a well-established manufacturing company in the Pittsburgh area. This is a great long-term, full-time opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, staying active throughout the day, and operating equipment in a clean, organized environment.
Responsibilities

Operate a company box truck to transport materials and products between local warehouse locations (less than 5 miles apart).

Occasionally pick up labels and supplies from a vendor in North Versailles.

Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or by hand as needed.

Verify shipments, ensuring all materials match shipping paperwork and are properly labeled.

Maintain accurate delivery and pickup logs, including delivery times, quantities, and any discrepancies.

Inspect vehicle daily before operation and report any maintenance or safety concerns.

Assist with general warehouse duties including receiving, staging, stocking, picking, and shipping materials.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the truck and warehouse areas.

Follow all company safety policies, traffic laws, and DOT regulations.

Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills

Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record (CDL not required).

Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, including THC, and complete a DOT medical card physical.

Forklift certification or willingness to obtain.

Minimum 2–3 years of warehouse or material handling experience preferred.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Effective communication and time management skills.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, walk, and drive for extended periods.
