Manufacturing Assistant
A growing manufacturer of specialized medical instruments is seeking a Manufacturing Assistant to support daily operations across production, inventory, customer service, quality systems, and regulatory documentation. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a regulated manufacturing environment where attention to detail, organization, and collaboration are critical. The Manufacturing Assistant will work closely with management, suppliers, and customers to help ensure efficient operations, accurate recordkeeping, and compliance with quality standards.
Responsibilities

Conduct customer follow-up communications and service callbacks.

Maintain and organize quality system and regulatory documentation.

Assist with quality records, compliance documentation, and audit preparation.

Coordinate parts purchasing and supplier communications.

Manage vendor relationships and support procurement activities.

Receive, count, track, and maintain inventory records.

Assist with complaint documentation and quality-related processes.

Support production and inventory database maintenance.

Assist with shipping, receiving, and general manufacturing operations.

Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational projects.

Perform administrative and organizational tasks as needed to support daily operations.
Qualifications and Skills

High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical or business education preferred.

Previous experience in manufacturing, inventory control, purchasing, quality systems, customer service, or related environments preferred.

Strong computer skills and ability to learn inventory and quality management software.

Excellent organizational and documentation skills.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work effectively in a regulated manufacturing environment.
