Manufacturing Assembler/Laborer
The Manufacturing Assembler/Laborer plays a crucial role in the production process by performing various tasks related to assembling, fabricating, and inspecting products within a manufacturing environment. This position requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to follow instructions accurately. The Assembler/Laborer contributes to the overall efficiency and quality of the manufacturing process.
Responsibilities

Follow detailed assembly instructions and blueprints to build, fabricate, or assemble components and products.

Use hand tools, power tools, and machinery to perform tasks such as cutting, drilling, sanding, and shaping materials.

Ensure that components are properly aligned, fitted, and secured according to specifications.

Inspect components and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.

Identify and report any defects, inconsistencies, or deviations from specifications to supervisors or quality control personnel.

Transport materials and components to and from workstations using manual handling equipment such as carts, pallet jacks, or forklifts.

Maintain an organized and clean workspace to ensure efficient material flow and safety.

Adhere to safety protocols, guidelines, and company policies to prevent accidents and injuries.

Properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) and report any safety hazards or concerns.

Record production and assembly data, including quantities produced, time taken, and any quality issues encountered.

Maintain accurate records of materials used and inventory levels.

Collaborate with team members, including engineers, supervisors, and fellow assemblers, to address challenges and improve processes.

Participate in team meetings to discuss production goals, progress, and areas for improvement.

Stay updated on product specifications, assembly techniques, and process improvements through ongoing training and development opportunities.
Qualifications and Skills

High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certifications are a plus.

Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or a related field is preferred.

Basic understanding of blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.

Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and measurement instruments.

Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.

Ability to follow instructions accurately and work independently or as part of a team.

Physical stamina and ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.

Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.

Must be able to fully pass a drug screen & background check.
