Responsibilities

Set up and operate manual machines (lathes, mills, drill presses, grinders) to craft and modify parts

Read simple blueprints or instructions to ensure accuracy

Measure your work using calipers, micrometers, and gauges

Keep your workspace organized and safe

Maintain and clean machines, sharpen tools, and perform basic troubleshooting

Collaborate with a friendly team to meet production and quality standards
Qualifications and Skills

High school diploma or GED

Mechanical aptitude and an interest in how things work

Comfortable using hand tools and measuring devices

Detail-oriented, safety-focused, and eager to learn
