Maintenance Technician – Manufacturing Environment

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is essential for keeping our production and facility equipment running smoothly and safely. You will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of equipment, supporting both daily operations and long-term reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct visual inspections of all products as they come off the press, ensuring only top-quality items are packaged

  • Perform secondary operations such as trimming, assembly, special packaging, sorting, punching, drilling, grinding, and labeling on molded and purchased parts

  • Identify and sort out defective products at your workstation; promptly notify your shift supervisor if defects are excessive

  • Assemble containers for packaging and storage of finished products

  • Monitor press and workstation for machine issues, cavitation counts, and perform basic quality checks; escalate concerns to your supervisor for corrective action

  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace and ensure finished products are properly stored

  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with management and team members

  • Demonstrate regular and consistent attendance

Qualifications and Skills
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical training or certification in industrial maintenance, electrical, or mechanical fields is preferred

  • Experience: Previous experience in industrial maintenance, machine repair, or a related field is highly desired.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems; ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints

  • Hands-on Abilities: Experience with hand and power tools, welding, and basic fabrication.

  • Preventive Maintenance: Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and the ability to implement and follow maintenance schedules

  • Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills to quickly identify and resolve equipment issues

  • Safety Awareness: Commitment to following all safety procedures and maintaining a safe work environment

  • Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, bend, stand, and work in various physical positions for extended periods.

  • Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency maintenance needs as required.
