Maintenance Assistant
Career Concepts is seeking a reliable and hardworking Maintenance Assistant for a well-established local manufacturer. This position offers hands-on work across multiple areas of the plant, including sanitation, maintenance support, and general production. The ideal candidate will be dependable, able to follow instructions, and willing to learn new tasks, including wastewater treatment procedures.
Responsibilities

Wash and sanitize production buckets used in mixing operations

Perform general janitorial and plant housekeeping duties

Assist with wastewater treatment (training provided)

Support maintenance activities by handing tools, cleaning machines, and assisting with basic tasks

Help with general production needs during busy period or to cover a vacation or absence of another employee.

Follow all plant safety procedures and standard operating processes
Qualifications and Skills

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly

Willingness to learn wastewater treatment procedures

Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to follow directions accurately

Prior experience in a manufacturing or maintenance setting preferred but not required
Benefits/Compensation

Full Time

Pay Rate is $15.50 per hour with a $.50 raise at hire and quarterly evals with potential to receive $.25 raise each quarter for the 1st year after hired on. Also yearly cost of living raise.
