Maintenance Technician
Job Overview: We are looking for a Maintenance Technician who would be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in a metal stamping environment. This position would also require some hands-on fabrication skills to support custom machine modifications, equipment builds, and general plant improvements.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on stamping presses, transfer equipment, conveyors, and support systems.

Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues

Fabricate parts, guards, brackets, and support using welding, cutting, and machining tools

Read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and fabrication blueprints

Support tooling maintenance and die changes when required

Install or assist in setting up new machines or production lines

Respond to emergency breakdowns to minimize production downtime

Ensure compliance with plant safety procedures and OSHA standards
Qualifications:

Prefer 3-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance

Fabrication skills: welding (MIG/TIG), torch/plasma cutting, basic machining

Ability to troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems

Basic knowledge of electrical systems (motors, sensors, switches)

Experience with press maintenance (mechanical or hydraulic stamping presses)

Able to use measuring tools, hand tools, and diagnostic equipment

Comfortable working in a manufacturing setting with rotating machinery

Basic computer/date entry level

Willingness to work overtime or respond to off-hours emergencies

High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
