Light Assembly
A growing manufacturing facility in the Fairview, PA area is seeking reliable individuals for Light Assembly positions on both 1st and 2nd shift. This role involves working with small parts in a hands-on production setting, focusing on quality, accuracy, and efficiency.
Responsibilities

Assemble small components using hand tools and fasteners such as screws, bolts, clips, and rivets

Inspect, deburr, and clean parts to ensure quality standards are met

Follow basic blueprints, work instructions, and production procedures

Operate equipment such as drill presses, punch presses, and riveting machines
-
Use electric and air-powered torque tools and read torque measurements accurately
-
Package finished products according to company standards for shipment

Complete required documentation and production records

Identify and correct minor assembly issues as they arise
Qualifications and Skills

High school diploma or GED required
-
3–6 months of related manufacturing or assembly experience preferred

Ability to read and understand basic blueprints and written instructions

Basic math skills (measurements, counting, simple calculations)

Comfortable using hand tools and small equipment

Strong attention to detail and quality

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally

Must be able to stand, bend, twist, and move throughout the shift

Ability to distinguish colors (important for certain tasks)

Able to read and write in English
