Landscaping Laborer
A landscaping technician is responsible for the installation, and maintenance of outdoor landscapes. This particular position will take place in one location rather than require the candidate to move around to various locations. The main duty for this particular position ill be weed whacking and grounds maintenance. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Responsibilities

Weed whack is the primary function of this position.

Mow, edge, and trim the grass to maintain a neat appearance.

Perform routine care on any plants, trees, and shrubs including watering, trimming, and mulching as needed.

Trash and other debris clean up is also a large part of the job.

Identify any repairs that need to be done on the grounds and report them to the supervisor.
Qualifications and Skills

Prior landscaping or other outdoor labor work is a big plus.

The ability to work in very warm conditions for extensive periods of time.

The physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, carry equipment, etc for an 8 hour shift in varying weather conditions.

Knowledge of plants, trees, shrubs, and flowers, including their care requirements is a big plus.

Familiarity with landscaping tools, equipment, and machinery is a must.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work well with clients and team members.

Time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.

Must have reliable transportation- not accessible by bus
Benefits/Compensation

Full Time

Pay rate is $13 per hour, more possible depending on experience

1st Shift 8am-4:30pm M-F, with voluntary Saturday overtime

This job is rain or shine - 40 hours guaranteed
