IT Support Specialist
A local Erie manufacturing company is seeking an IT Support Specialist to help manage and maintain their complex digital landscape. As an IT Support Specialist you will be responsible for providing top-notch IT support according to the needs of various departments. The ideal candidate will be proactive, quick-thinking, and knowledgeable.
Responsibilities

Provide technical support to staff for hardware, software, and network issues.

Install, configure, and maintain company systems, software, and hardware.

Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, network equipment, and security systems.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues with workstations, printers, phones, and other office equipment.

Set up and manage user accounts, permissions, and passwords.

Assist with network troubleshooting and ensuring network connectivity is optimal.

Install, update, and patch software to ensure systems are secure and up-to-date.

Assist in IT inventory management, ensuring all devices are properly catalogued and tracked.

Document technical procedures, solutions, and knowledge base articles for future reference.

Collaborate with other IT staff and departments to ensure smooth operation of IT services.

Support and maintain cloud-based systems and services.

Participate in the planning and implementation of new IT projects or upgrades.
Qualifications and Skills

Highschool diploma or equivalent.

2+ years of IT support experience.

Prior knowledge and experience with Crystal reports and databases.

Certifications in IT related fields not required but a plus.

Strong organization skills and attention to detail.

Familiarity with manufacturing computing and software.
