Human Resource Manager
A growing manufacturing company in the Meadville area is seeking a Human Resources Manager to join their team. This role is focused on supporting leadership, improving employee engagement, and helping drive key HR initiatives across the organization.
This is a hands-on position that requires a strong presence on the floor, the ability to build relationships at all levels, and the confidence to influence and guide leaders in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities

Partner with site leadership to support culture initiatives, employee engagement, and overall business goals

Serve as a key HR resource to managers, providing guidance on employee relations, performance management, and policy implementation

Lead full-cycle recruiting for hourly and salaried roles, with a focus on strengthening internal hiring processes

Manage onboarding processes to ensure a smooth and engaging new hire experience

Support and maintain HR programs, including learning management and succession planning initiatives

Maintain a consistent on-the-floor presence to build relationships and address employee concerns in real time

Coach and support leadership teams, including navigating difficult conversations and reinforcing company policies

Handle employee relations matters such as disciplinary actions, investigations, and conflict resolution

Ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations

Assist with compensation analysis and provide recommendations based on market data

Support payroll processes, HRIS data accuracy, reporting, and employee records management

Coordinate temporary staffing needs as needed

Assist with additional HR and operational projects as assigned
Qualifications and Skills

Minimum of 5–7+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment

Strong HR generalist background, including employee relations, recruiting, and performance management

Experience in staffing or high-volume recruiting environments is a plus

Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with employees and leadership at all levels

Confident and professional approach to handling challenges and guiding decision-making

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment

Experience with HR systems such as Workday, ADP, or similar platforms (Dayforce, etc.)

Strong organizational and multitasking skills

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred
