Housekeeping and Laundry Attendant

A local hotel is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, including hotels and hospitality environments. This role is crucial in ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for guests and residents, contributing to their overall satisfaction and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.

• Carry out floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing.

• Ensure all bathrooms are sanitized and stocked with necessary supplies.

• Manage laundry services, including washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens.

• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.

• Follow established cleaning protocols to maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.

• Assist in inventory management of cleaning supplies and equipment.

• Collaborate with housekeeping management to ensure efficient operations.

Qualifications and Skills

• Must have at least 1 year experience in industrial cleaning or housekeeping within the hotel or hospitality industry.

• Familiarity with custodial practices and floor care techniques is advantageous.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.

• A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer service.
