Gunsmith
The Gunsmith is responsible for the repair, maintenance, modification, and customization of firearms to ensure safety, accuracy, and reliability. This role requires strong technical knowledge of firearms, precision machining, and metalworking, as well as adherence to all safety standards and federal, state, and local firearms regulations.
Responsibilities

Inspect, diagnose, and repair firearms for functionality, accuracy, and safety.

Perform cleaning, maintenance, and restoration of firearms.

Modify and customize firearms according to customer specifications (e.g., trigger adjustments, barrel modifications, stock fitting, engraving).

Fabricate or machine replacement parts when necessary.

Test-fire firearms to ensure proper performance and safety compliance.

Keep accurate records of firearm repairs and modifications in accordance with ATF regulations.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Provide expert advice to customers regarding firearm care, upgrades, and safe usage.
Qualifications and Skills

Proven experience as a gunsmith or formal training from an accredited gunsmithing program.

Strong knowledge of firearms, ballistics, and machining processes.

Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

Familiarity with federal, state, and local firearm laws and compliance requirements.

Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and manual dexterity.

Must fully pass drug screen and background check.
