General Production
The General Laborer is responsible for supporting multiple areas of the manufacturing process including fabrication, powder coating, and final assembly. This position assists with material handling, part preparation, equipment operation, product finishing, and shipping preparation while ensuring all work is performed safely, accurately, and efficiently.
Responsibilities

Assist in the movement, staging, and organization of materials throughout the facility.

Hang, prepare, wash, and powder coat parts according to specifications.

Select the correct materials, finishes, and colors for each job.

Grind, deburr, and prepare parts for fabrication and assembly.

Support brake press operators with setup and material flow.

Inspect work for quality, proper coating coverage, and adherence to drawings and specifications.

Perform basic dimensional checks using measuring tools such as tape measures and calipers.

Assemble products and prepare finished goods for shipment.

Operate forklifts, hoists, and other equipment as needed when trained and authorized.

Load and unload materials, trucks, and trailers and complete required production documentation.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all company procedures and required PPE.

Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills

High School Diploma or GED required; Vo-Tech or Trade School experience preferred.

1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.

Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.

Ability to read basic drawings and measurements.

Strong attention to detail and quality.

Basic math skills, including fractions and decimals.

Forklift and/or hoist experience preferred.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
-
Ability to work around loud noise, dust, chemicals, and fumes while using required PPE; respirator use may be required.
Benefits/Compensation

Full Time

Pay Rate is $15.00/hr
-
Pay increases to $18.00/hr upon completion of Temp-To-Hire hours

1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
-
2nd Shift: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM
