General Laborer (Steel Industry)

Responsibilities

Inspect and prepare steel materials, ensuring all components meet quality and safety standards.

Assist with fabrication, installation, and maintenance of steel frames, girders, columns, and equipment.

Operate hand and power tools, hoisting equipment, and machinery to move and position steel parts safely.

Read and follow blueprints and instructions from supervisors to ensure precise assembly and installation.

Maintain a clean, organized work area and support daily operations by handling materials and supplies.

Record work completed and report any issues or safety concerns to supervisors.

Collaborate with welders, fabricators, crane operators, and other team members to meet project goals and deadlines
Qualifications and Skills

Prior experience in construction or steel work is a plus, but we welcome candidates eager to learn.

Basic knowledge of steel fabrication, installation, or willingness to train on the job.

Strong physical stamina-able to lift heavy objects, stand, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.

Proficiency with hand and power tools, or a desire to learn safe tool operation.

Attention to detail, commitment to safety, and reliable teamwork and communication skills.

Ability to read blueprints or willingness to learn
