Fitter Helper
A local fabrication shop is hiring a Fitter Helper to support its skilled welding team. This position is perfect for someone with at least one year of shop experience who wants to grow their career in welding and fabrication. If you’re eager to learn, enjoy working with your hands, and have the ability to read blueprints, this is a great opportunity to train under experienced tradespeople.
Responsibilities

Assist Fitters/Welders with positioning and securing materials.

Learn and perform fittings under supervision.

Read and comprehend blueprints with guidance.

Maintain tools and assist with shop organization.

Follow all safety procedures and company standards.
Qualifications and Skills

At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or fabrication shop.

Ability to read and understand blueprints.

Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills.
