Responsibilities

Inspect with Precision: Perform first article inspections on plastic parts using advanced tools (Hexagon CMMs, micrometers, calipers) to ensure every component meets strict quality standards.

Review & Report: Interpret technical drawings, document results, and report any quality issues or deviations.

Collaborate & Improve: Work closely with engineering and production teams to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement.

Support Quality Systems: Maintain accurate records, assist with PPAP documentation, and uphold ISO/IATF 16949 standards.

Champion Safety: Ensure a safe, organized, and efficient inspection area at all times.
Qualifications and Skills

At least 1 year of experience in metrology or quality inspection.

Strong ability to read and interpret part drawings, blueprints, tolerances, technical specs and GD and T.

Hands-on experience with inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.) and quality systems (ISO/IATF 16949).

Knowledge of PPAP, SPC, and calibration systems.

Plastic mold injection experience is a plus.

Proficiency with PC DMIS software and MS Office Suite.

Ability to program CMM.

Experience in APQP is a plus

Exceptional attention to detail, independence, and sound judgment.
