Facility Maintenance Technician
This is a hands-on maintenance role focused on facility and equipment upkeep. The technician will handle repairs, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and general building systems. The ideal candidate should already have maintenance experience, be comfortable working independently, and know how to use tools and follow written instructions to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities

Examine facility equipment to diagnose source of trouble

Troubleshoot equipment, replace faulty parts, and restore operation safely

Maintain and repair equipment such as wrappers, lifts, balers, and forklifts as needed

Move, install, and adjust facility equipment when needed

Perform preventive maintenance and lubrication routines

Repair and maintain pneumatic and mechanical equipment

Perform minor carpentry repairs when needed (walls, leaks, basic building upkeep)

Other building maintenance as needed including but not limited to painting, minor plumbing, and flooring repair and/or installation

Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean, orderly, and safe

Use tools, manuals, and instructions to complete assigned maintenance tasks

Follow proper Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures

Wear required PPE as needed (eye protection, footwear, hearing protection, etc.)

Use 2-way radio for facility communication
Qualifications and Skills
-
A minimum of 3 years’ prior maintenance experience required — mechanical, electrical, facility, and carpentry (plumbing a plus)

Able to use hand tools and power tools and follow written instructions

Can work independently and prioritize tasks

Comfortable using a computer to record work, follow instructions, and communicate with team and leadership when needed

Must possess strong communication skills and ability to communicate with leadership regularly

Able to safely lift and move materials when required – some heavier lifting may be required

Must wear PPE and follow safety procedures

Dependability is a must
-
Some occasional overtime required
-
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

First shift (6am –2:30pm)

$20-26/hr based on experience
