Facilitator
A local Pittsburgh organization is searching for a skilled and personable Facilitator to join their team making an impact on people with disabilities. In this position, the candidate will be responsible for facilitating classrooms and providing top-notch care during the client’s social, intellectual, physical, and emotional development. The ideal candidate will be respectful, thoughtful, and familiar with working with students with disabilities.
Responsibilities

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for clients to learn in.

Implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans as assigned.

Record and maintain educational records.

Interface with client parents appropriately and provide updates on client progress.

Adhere to all institutional and national policies and procedures.

Assist other facilitators and employees with various tasks as needed.

Other duties as assigned and necessary.
Qualifications and Skills
-
Proven track record of excellent customer service, preferably in a social services setting.

Previous experience working a State or Federally funded Child Care Program.

Knowledge and understanding of classroom and behavior management.

Excellent organization and multi-tasking abilities.
-
Possession or willingness to obtain first aid and CPR certification.
-
Clean background check.
-
Successful TB screening.
Benefits/Compensation

40 hours a week

9am-4pm

$20-$32/hr based on experience and education

Monday – Friday, 5 days a week
